Asthma Attack Healed

It was four years ago in April 2004 when I traveled to the Philippines to attend my mother’s burial with my kids, my older sister and her son. During our time in Philippines we learnt that one of the local churches in Pugo, La Union was having special meetings and Brother Samuel Asiedu was the guest speaker from Ottawa, Canada. This was the first time of meeting Brother Samuel, although I had heard of his name from my Pastor John Danquah in Brampton Ontario where we currently fellowship.

The special meetings surely blessed our spiritual lives through the preaching of the Word of God. One of the most unforgettable works that our Lord Jesus did was on our flight back to Canada. I did not know that the flight date of me and my sister and the kids was the same as Brother Samuel’s, and that we were to be on the same flight on our journey back to Canada.

My older sister’s son (my nephew) has been asthmatic from birth and has often been taken to the emergency hospital due to breathing difficulties. My nephew had already started coughing on our way to the airport that morning and my sister was really worried about what she was seeing during that time as her son was showing signs of imminent asthmatic attack. I remember my sister saying: “what are we going to do if his asthma attack occurs while we are in the air?” It was surely a scary sight to see the boy in that condition with nobody able to do anything to help.

At the departure gate prior to boarding the plane, we could see that the coughing of my nephew was getting worse and his breathing was getting more difficult. It was at that time that we saw Brother Samuel waiting to board the same flight. I approached Brother Samuel immediately and asked him to pray for my nephew. In the presence of so many people who were looking at us and thinking what in the world was going on we knelt down to pray. Brother Samuel prayed for my nephew and soon after, we boarded the plane. Thanks to the Lord God, not only did the asthma not attack my nephew during the flight but until today, the asthma has had no place in his body and had not bothered him again because the Lord Jesus Christ healed my nephew that day. – Sister Mary Ann.

Collapsed Foot Arch and Inflammation of Joints Healed

It all started in the month of February 2008 when I started to feel pains in my feet. The first week went by and we prayed for the healing on my feet. The second week went by as I tried to bear the pain without any relief in sight. However, as the pain became unbearable, I sought advice from our family doctor. I underwent blood test to determine what was causing the pain in my feet as well as in every joint of my body. While I was waiting for the test results, the pain got worst to such an extent that I could not even get up from bed without the help of my husband.

The results of the test came in and my family doctor said that I was suffering from inflammation of the joints but did not really explain was causing the inflammation. She however, referred me to a rheumatologist. I had an x-ray and bone scan on the advice of the rheumatologist, however, the doctor could not explain clearly what was going on because he could not see anything wrong or abnormal from the results. Subsequently, my family doctor referred me to a foot specialist for further examination. The foot doctor, after his examination, explained to me that my foot arch had collapsed and wrote a prescription for an orthotic insole. The insole did not help a lot to relieve the pains.

In May 2008 I took two weeks off from work in order not to strain my feet from too much walking. During that time my husband also had a work-related trip to Laval, Quebec and even though I was in pains, me and my kids went with him and decided to stay in Ottawa for the weekend to fellowship with our Brother Samuel Asiedu, Brother Pierre, Sister Teresa and Sister Marivi. God blessed us during that Friday evening service and we felt God descend to commune with His humble church in Ottawa as Brother Samuel preached the Word of God. I felt the touch of our Lord Jesus immediately when Brother Samuel prayed over me. God delivered me from all the pains that I had in my feet and my body. I gradually felt the effect of the healing get stronger and stronger in my body and after a week, I felt the total deliverance of our Lord Jesus Christ. Although my three doctors tried their best to ease my pains, God really was my only healer and by His stripes, I’m now totally healed. – Sister Mary Ann
